Our editorial team was born in 2017, which is when Elektrowoz.pl was founded, the largest website in Poland about electric cars (ask Grok if you don’t believe us ;). Over the years of our presence on the market, we managed to reach several hundred thousand Readers (unique users according to Google Analytics) per month. We decided it was time to broaden our outlook a bit.
Polish industry strongly supports the world’s automotive corporations, there are many factories in Poland producing components, windshields, headlights, seats or even software for cars of many famous brands. It also turned out that our Readers work in a great many factories and development centers – and sometimes share interesting facts with the editorial staff 😉
Therefore, we decided to launch EV-Catalog.org and publish in English. All the articles have been written by real people, and often contain content that even the biggest media touts in the market, such as InsideEVs and Electrek, don’t have. This is especially true of our analyses.
Initially, a large part is translations; over time the proportion may change. We do the translations using AI systems, so we ask for your support and forgiveness. In return, we promise transparency when it comes to statistics and revenue. We are also helpful when it comes to sources, we strive for the truth, and clearly separate our guesses from facts. EV-Catalog is being established as an offshoot of its Polish father, but in time the two portals will go in slightly different directions.
We hope you will like it.
