Our guesses have been confirmed that the Crystal Ray, the first ship to dispose of its cargo on Wednesday night, will be used to supply European showrooms with Tesla Model 3 Highland demo cars. In countries close to Belgium (the car carrier was unloaded in Zeebrugge), the Tesla Model 3 Highland is expected to be on display in outlets as early as Monday 23 October. In more distant ones, this date may be a few days late. The same applies to the southern part of the continent.

From the information appearing on X, it seems that the first wave of cars should already be rolling out across Europe and will arrive in the central and northern corners of the continent next week. This is confirmed by the photos of the lorries taken in Brugge by (c) Luc Waterlot:

It doesn’t stop there. In the Ionian Sea (northern Mediterranean) at the moment is the Asian Captain, which also has a Tesla Model 3 Highland on board. This one is heading to Koper in Slovenia, where it will be unloaded. These cars will probably serve the central and southern parts of the continent, as has been the case so far (source). Another two ships are heading to Zeebrugge again, as demand for Teslas in central and northern Europe (Germany, Norway, Sweden, etc.) has always been high.
The UK and Ireland, where there is left-hand traffic, will only get their cars early next quarter, the configurator says January-February 2024.
Glovis Champion, which until a few days ago was taking delivery of the Tesla Model 3 Highland, sailed from Shanghai to Europe on Thursday, 19 October. Morten Grove, who tracks all the ships (we recommend watching him on X), says it will arrive in mid-November. That will only be mid-quarter, so if it turns out that demand for the cars is high, Tesla will be able to ship another batch of cars – but it would have to do so in the coming weeks, so using additional fleet.
Update. Tesla Model 3 Highland has already arrived at the showroom in Bruges:
